Welcome

A monthly online drop-in group, grounded in Buddhist teachings, inquiry and community practice, to build equanimity in the midst of climate crisis and nurture capacity for a wise response.

Dear friends, we invite you to join us in this year’s climate compassion circle. This is a monthly online drop-in group grounded in Buddhist teachings, inquiry and community practice, which builds equanimity in the midst of climate crisis and nurtures capacity for a wise response.

This year we will ground our group in the teachings of the Four Wise Efforts, which are powerful and comprehensive guidelines for protecting, supporting, and strengthening our minds and hearts in these times. To honour Joanna Macy and her life of leadership in climate response, we will incorporate her teaching on the Four Rs of Deep Adaptation, which dovetail beautifully with the wise efforts.

Climate Compassion Circle – hosted in collaboration with the Calgary, Edmonton, Regina and Saskatoon Insight Meditation Communities

A prairie dharma team will facilitate this year.

This group will include dharma reflection, community inquiry, meditation practices and connection to local action groups.

Our sessions in 2025-26 are the first or third Tuesday of each month, from 7:30-9:00 pm Sask time (click links below for other time zones)
